About the studio
A small studio working where technology, design, space, interaction, AI and culture meet.
VeleStudio is a creative technology and interaction design studio that creates XR, spatial computing and interactive experiences where physical space, people, computation and intelligent technology meet.

What we do
Not an AR company. Not a Unity shop.
VeleStudio works at the intersection of XR, interaction, spatial computing, AI, real-time 3D and human-computer interaction to create digital experiences that happen in physical space.
In practice that means augmented and mixed reality applications for phones and headsets, geospatial AR anchored to real streets and sites, interactive installations driven by cameras and sensors, Unity and web applications, and increasingly experiences in which language models and computer vision let a space answer back. We design the interaction as carefully as we write the code.
We can take part in a project at any stage, research, concept, interaction design, prototyping, technical development or deployment, and we are deliberately small: a specialised team that collaborates with larger organisations, agencies and in-house teams rather than trying to replace them.
Founder
Erfan Soleymanzadeh
Founder and CTO of VeleStudio, Ciro, Vela Arte
Erfan Soleymanzadeh is a designer and technologist based in Rome and Milan, and the founder and CTO of VeleStudio, Ciro and Vela Arte.
Erfan holds a Master of Design from Sapienza University of Rome. The thesis research, on bringing augmented reality, artificial intelligence and geospatial systems together with user-centred design for cultural engagement, became Ciro: an AI travel guide that tells the story of any street by voice, in chat and in augmented reality.
At VeleStudio, Erfan leads research, interaction design and technical development, working in Unity, C#, web technologies and real-time 3D on AR, geospatial and AI-driven experiences.
Collaborators are brought in per project for 3D, sound, content and research as the work requires.
How we work
Five working principles
- 01
Place first
An experience belongs somewhere: a street, a gallery, a room, a headset on a particular head. We design from the place outwards.
- 02
Prototype early, measure on site
Tracking, legibility and comfort cannot be judged from a slide. We put builds on real devices in the real setting as early as possible.
- 03
Technology as a means
Unity, geospatial anchors or language models appear in a project because the experience needs them, not because they are new.
- 04
Honest about limits
Accuracy, battery, lighting and latency are real. We tell clients what a technology can and cannot do before they commit.
- 05
Leave tools behind
Content pipelines curators and editors can maintain, documentation a future team can read, code that outlives us on the project.
Who we work with
Organisations, not sectors
We work remotely with clients across Europe, the UK, the United States and the Middle East, with on-site phases for surveys, installation and testing.

Next step
Working on something that needs this mix of skills?
We are happy to talk early, before a brief exists. Often the most useful conversation is about which technology not to use.
